Root Cause Project CIC: Building Community for Veterans in North Devon

We’re thrilled to share that our co-founder, Roy Goddin, recently sat down for an inspiring interview on The Voice North Devon to talk about the vision, impact, and future of Root Cause Project CIC. It was a fantastic opportunity to highlight what we’re all about, from the driving motivation behind our community work to the exciting plans we have to expand our reach and make a difference.

What Root Cause Project CIC Stands For

Root Cause Project CIC was created with a clear mission: to support the well-being of veterans and serving personnel, providing them with a space to connect, grow, and heal through our community-driven sessions and resources. Roy, alongside the team, believes that addressing the core challenges our community faces—whether they be related to mental health, reintegration, or simply finding support networks—is the root cause of building lasting resilience and health.

Key Points from the Interview

During his interview, Roy touched on several aspects of the project, including:

  • Our Current Work in North Devon: With our base in North Devon, we’ve been able to create a supportive space for veterans and serving personnel to come together. Our sessions offer a mix of therapeutic activities, camaraderie, and resources that help individuals reconnect and thrive.
  • An Invitation to Join Us: Roy extended an open invitation to any veterans and serving personnel who are able to travel to North Devon to join our sessions. We’re eager to welcome anyone who would like to be a part of this growing community, whether they’re nearby or willing to make the journey.

Why This Matters

Roy’s interview highlights just how important it is to have spaces dedicated to veterans and service members. With the project’s growth, we hope to meet the needs of even more individuals and help tackle the larger issues facing our community.
